This uplifting and supportive 100% organic tea blend has been created to boost immunity and aid the respiratory system. The unique combination of tulsi, st. john’s wort and spearmint has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties, combats respiratory ailments, helps to fight infection and supports the immune response.
Immune-Boosting, Supportive of the Respiratory System
For 5,000 years, tulsi, otherwise known as Holy Basil, has been revered in India as “The Queen of Herbs.” Tulsi improves the body’s overall defence mechanism including its ability to fight viral diseases. It also is effective in relieving symptoms of congestion, coughs, flu, sinusitis, sore throat, and similar respiratory ailments.
ST JOHNS WORT
These bright yellow flowers are famously effective for boosting low mood. Yet, St Johns Wort holds many more herbal actions. As an antiviral, expectorant, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory, St. John’s wort is wonderful for soothing discomfort during illness and helping to fight infection.
Vitamin Rich, Cooling
Spearmint contains vitamins, antioxidants, and vital nutrients. The abundance of anti-inflammatory properties and soothing effects of spearmint makes it extremely beneficial for respiratory health. It provides relief from a sore throat, clears nasal and chest congestion and also soothes a dry, irritated throat. It also serves as a potent remedy for asthma, bronchitis, sinus, and headache.
USING THIS PRODUCT
Generally, you should measure 1 teaspoon of tea per 250ml of water (for a large cup, 1.5 teaspoons should be enough, for a small teapot 2.5 teaspoons). Using an infuser or a loose leaf teapot, pour hot water over the tea blend and let steep for at least 5 minutes before enjoying. Do not leave the tea steeping for more than 15 minutes as the tea will taste bitter after this time.
